Kurtob Alliance + Mod Prices

I really want that speeder.

..I don’t think I’ll ever get it though unless I make another account and buy the game again and etc. Which sucks. I really don’t have money for that, but it’s hard enough trying to get friends to play the game–let alone subscribe :/

On a different note, it seems pricing of some mods have gone down so I may only need like 3.6 million instead of 5…still too much for my blood though. (I have about 150K, for the record :|)

Recap

So, it looks like the event didn’t start today despite the server problems. I do hope it starts soon considering next week is the last only semi-busy week of the month for me so if it’s in July after that…just lots of craziness, honestly.

Besides that, got two groups today. One for Karagga Story Mode and one for Karagga HM (with those nice people from the guild I did the fastest Lost Island run ever with!). Sadly no pet drop on either πŸ™ Though, I did win the Dessler Turbo from HM. Ironically, I still haven’t won the Story mode mount that you can get from KP or EV.

As for gear changes… I’m still freaking out completely. However, I have noticed some change (for the better) which is good. I seem to be healing a bit higher so hopefully that’ll continue to help.

Dreams, Stress, and Rumors

So, I had a dream I had suddenly been given 100 million credits, had gotten 2400 Ranked Warzone Rating, 100 Valor, 999 Daily Commendations, and max ranked and normal warzone commendations. Ignoring that this obviously means I’ve been playing SWTOR a bit too much, I was having a field day completing all of my goals. Getting my gear fixed up, getting all the mounts, getting a few Warzone stuff (including the Relic I need), and being able to get various Legacy stuff along with finally having all my alts good and ready to go.

I was just ecstatic and knew that now I could save for any future stuff they came out with… and then I woke up.

I’m a very all or nothing person. Similarly, I’m also very indecisive and stress easily. This is why I group things together and it’s not one or two things, but the whole group. All the mounts. All the ship legacy stuff. It isn’t 500K for this thing then 1 million for that–it’s 7.5 million for it all.

While I have a good memory, I’m a person who likes to get things done so I don’t have to worry about it.

Unfortunately, I was stupid and decided to take a risk and start working on my gear only for me to now start freaking the heck out. Why? Because not all my gear has been changed at once. I’m essentially having a nervous break-down having just spent most of my money (which was also stupid and I already regret it) on an enhancement due to it being 200K cheaper than usual–not to mention taking things out (in case this was all a mistake) and getting an Augment Slot on a new implant.

This is one of those things where I essentially would be okay if I had a mass amount of credits and just told someone to take care of it for me because I completely freak out. I do not like change. In fact, my boyfriend had to do the diplomacy missions to dark side because going to dark side to get the pet and speeder made me ridiculously uncomfortable. So changing parts of my gear is just really getting to me. And I’m not sure what to do.

From the wonderfully confusing topic I made, so far it seems I should do this:
1. Get War Hero Relic
2. Get Magenta +41 Power Crystal (About 350K right now on the market)
3. Get 4 Advanced Aptitude Mods (25 or 26.) – 400K-750K each
4. Get 4 Advanced Mettle Mods (25 or 26) – 400K-500K each
5. Get an Advanced Adept Enhancement 24 (About 250K)
6. Get another Black Hole Implant

Depending on how that goes, I’ll either be:
Switching around enhancements more (Will probably need several Quick Savant (500K))
and/or switching around Augments.

And I just…can’t afford that. In total, that is at least 4,300,000. And I just… I don’t know what to do. I’d probably need closer to 5 million due to pulling things out and having to add new Augment slots to some stuff. At the same time, I already started the process and I can’t exactly reverse it. So now I’m stuck and freaking out and just…upset and stressed and I really wish I knew what to do. (this is also part of why I want the races for alts already–it bothers me knowing two characters are not ready to go yet)

Moving on to rumors as I continue stressing completely, if the event is this week, the chances are it’ll be today–possibly within amount the next 10 minutes or the next 70 minutes. I guess we’ll see. Part of me wants it to, but on the otherhand, I haven’t done Karagga (Story or Hard mode) yet so if it does, I don’t think I’ll be getting a group this week…

…so stressed. .__. if you have some piles of credits sitting around and happen to be on Corellian Run, please think of donating to the Save Marilea from a Panic attack fund. She’ll pay you back eventually.

Getting Gear Help

Having been the only sage (and possibly healer) at my gear level that can’t seem to get off a 6K heal, I finally gave in and asked for help. I have never been good at gearing and the last MMO I really got this far in automatically had items leveled with stats and costumes would go over it so there was no pulling things out and mixing and matching.

To my surprise (and gratitude), I woke up with a response this morning. And from what it sounds like… I have a lot to do.

I have to:
1. Essentially replace any with a letter after them to the non-letter version.
2. Get more Black Hole Armorings (not surprising there though)
3. Change up another Crit + Alacrity Enhancement for Crit/Power and Surge.
4. Possibly change my relic

I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to afford all these changes though. I’m going to work really hard, but I just feel like a failure. So much for only focusing on whatever gives the most willpower πŸ™

Edit: And now people keep telling me different things and I’m more confused

ugh

Gearing just…sucks. I mean, here I am trying to make myself better and it seems I’ll never be able to. I don’t want to suck, but at the same time gear is definitely not at the top of my priority list… but also at the same time, I don’t like not feeling like I have everything ready to go.

Essentially what I still need:
1. Advanced Adept Enhancement 26 – Goes for about 750K. Just need 1.
2. Advanced Resolve Armoring 26 – Goes for about 2 million to 3 million. Need 6.
3. Advanced Mettle Mod 26A – I believe this can actually just be pulled out of Campaign gear so…

regardless, that’s 12,750,000-18,750,000.

And didn’t I recently just state for so many other things, it’d be like 25 million?

so maybe I should just aim for 45 million.

and then curl into a ball and cry because I suck.

And then what? + Event Rumors

I get asked this a lot. “So, when you collect all the pets, then what? Just wait for more?” It’s actually a very silly question as I’m a pretty goal oriented person and usually mention that I do have quite a few–just that Pets are my number 1 priority right now.

And what exactly would be all the pets? I believe I’ve stated there’s technically 20 pets confirmed and 24 pets in the game (of course, Beta pets are not counted in this as they are not out yet whatsoever–though, for those curious, it’d be 29 with Beta included).

To be honest, once I get the M0-GUL Thrall Droid, I’d essentially be satisfied as right now, there is no information on how to get the Wonderous/Wondrous Egg. That doesn’t mean I won’t stop trying to figure it out–of course I will! I will constantly keep trying, but I won’t feel frustrated or impatient that I haven’t gotten it yet as nobody has it yet. Nobody knows how to get it. It’s a mystery.

Getting Orochick as well as the M0-GUL Thrall Droid would essentially be the full goal as while I will still keep an eye out of the other 4 pets, they have not been confirmed and thus, I’d rather not drive myself crazy for something that may not even be enabled yet.

But then what would I do, you ask? Well, that’s simple. I’d save up for most of my other goals. For example, I still need 5 million credits for the Ship GTN. Not to mention 1 million more for Both Dummies (as they’re 500K each). After that, I’ll probably either put 2 million towards Rocket Boots, 200K towards the Field Respec, and the 3 million for the Twi’lek and Zabrak races. Though, if I do level up Roseria, I may just need 1.5 million then. Main issue is I do not know how I’ll do leveling up a sage again. However, if my boyfriend and I can get some of our friends to join, I may just try and deal.

After that, it’s a bit of a tie. Besides working on other characters, I’d like to get each (Minus Amidaia and Marilea for obvious reasons) the full Class Experience Boost Perks (275K) and full Exploration Experience Boost Perks (150K) which would be 425K per character (5 other characters = 2,125,000). …I’d also probably have to get it for the being rushed through Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior characters I will be making (that will just be deleted after I get the Companion and Chapter stuff) as they need to at least hit the requirement for Quesh so they can get the shot as to not die instantly πŸ˜› But I’d also like to work on my Mount collection.

Right now, I still need:
Kurtob Alliance – Need to refer a friend who buys one month.
Aratech Coral – Need to still defeat Nightmare Pilgrim x3 😐
Aratech Nightscythe – Need to do HM EC
Aratech Scythe – 225K at Fleet Vendor or Speeder Vendor on Voss
Aratech Lancer – 175K from Speeder Vendor on Voss
Aratech Dagger – 55K from Quesh Speeder Vendor
Czerka Invader – 25K from Quesh Speeder Vendor
Czerka Cruiser – 8K from Alderaan/Tatooine Speeder Vendor
Desler Turbo – Drops from Karagga in KP Hard/Nightmare
Exchange Bandit – Security Vendor for 1.5 million
Gurian Shadow – From Blearg at Outlaw’s Den for 150K
Gurian Cyclone – From Jo’dath at Outlaw’s Den for 175K
Gurian Scoprion – From Imperial Fleet or Alderaan for 25K (must buy on Amidaia)
Korrealis Prince – From Imperial PVP Vendor on Fleet. Technically, a friend got me one πŸ™ stupid bound-ness.
Lhosan Thunderbolt – 200 Daily Commendations or dropped off last boss in LI HM
Lhosan Torch – Purchased from Speeder Vendor on Voss for 150K
Lhosan Stinger – 150K from Speeder Vendor on Voss
Lhosan Duster – 25K from Fleet Speeder Vendor
Lhosan Racer – Quesh Vehicle Vendor for 25K
Longspur Blaze – 200 Daily Commendations
Orlean Flurry – 25K from Hoth Social Vendor
Orlean Rebel – 8K from Alderaan/Tatooine
Paraxon Bloodline – Dropped from HM EC
Paraxon Aero – From Light Sider Vendor on Fleet for 300K
Rendili Outrider – 25K from Quesh Speeder vendor
Rendili Protector – 8K from Alderaan/Tatooine
Tirsa Elite – Either last boss of Kaon HM, EV Normal, or KP Normal
Ubrikkian Raider – 150K on Voss
Ubrikkian Hunter – 25K on Fleet
Ubrikkian Striker – 8K on Tatooine/Alderaan
Ubrikkian War-rider – 1,000 Ranked Warzone Commendations and Rank 2200 in Ranked Warzones
Hotrigged Speeder Bike – Made by Cybertech

So, that’s a grand total of 2,953,000 Credits, 1,000 Ranked Warzone Commendations, and 400 Daily Commendations. Plus get Amidaia’s Cybertech up πŸ˜›

But of course, then what? Still easy. I’d like to just unlock everything Legacy-wise for Mari–including stuff she doesn’t need. Would also be tempted to get all the Companion Affection stuff on all my other characters (including Amidaia).

And after that? There’s nothing wrong with saving up credits and commendations for the future now, is there?

————————————————–

Besides that, there are rumors of the Event starting today. It doesn’t look like it is though, but maybe this weekend?

(for the record, it’d be about 16,300,000 to get Marilea all the speeders, all the 1.3 Legacy stuff, the Twi’lek and Zabrak races, Rocket Boots, and the Ship Legacy Unlocks. An extra 6 million would need to be added if I ever tried to unlock all the species, an extra 3,950,000 for the rest of the 1.2 stuff (Dark Side Ability, Rocket Boots/Quick Travel/Fleet Pass Cooldowns), an extra 2,970,000 to get every future character I make all 5 Ranks of Class and Exploration Experience Boosts, Level 1 of Improved Speeder Piloting, and all the Companion Affection Boosts… well, I can probably minus 180K (making it 2,790,000) as I don’t really need the companion stuff on Roseria. For a grand total of 23,040,000… this is why I’m trying to get like 25 million. …too bad it probably won’t happen.

Busy Days Ahead

So, yesterday, I really didn’t get much done. Besides still being upset (and honestly, I probably will continue to be until another drops and I actually win it this time), I just felt pretty sucky and it wasn’t a great day yesterday. I only managed to do Lost Island once and if you couldn’t guess, no luck. At all.

Being up this early, I have already queued myself for Group Finder. I am nervous about a group as there is a chance I’ll get a bad one and I really can’t afford the repair costs. Similarly, there is a chance someone will roll again and I will lose again and I’m not sure how many times I can deal with that before I give up altogether and the only chance of me getting it would be someone else running it for me (for the record, there is nobody else as my boyfriend as no idea how to play a healer and I wouldn’t trust someone to go on my account unless they were sitting in my chair and I can watch them and nobody else I know in RL plays this game :D).

It was almost like having a game and getting to the ending. The best ending. You’re about to win when either:
A. You need to save and quit because you have to take care of stuff.
or
B. Someone unplugs it/black out.

If you picked A, then one of the following happens: Someone comes and accidentally saves over your game or the system eats the data.

For the record, I have had these things happen to me. Now, I have been over my hate for repeating things. However, when I do something and then lose all my progress? That goes into a realm even further of my hate for repeating things.

That is how I feel about what happened with Lost Island. Yes, it’s random, there is a chance I could’ve lost regardless. Part of what makes it feel this way is why–that reason. And honestly, I’d probably still be upset (though, not as frustrated) if I just lost.

So, why is this so much different and why would I still be upset, you may ask? I hate Lost Island. No, not like how I hate dailies. With dailies, it’s more that I hate repetition. I hate how they are done. I do not necessarily have this much issue with the actual quests (with the exception of Belsavis’–but with their changes, it’s mostly just bad memories now).

I am not a fan of Lost Island or Kaon Under Siege. I dislike zombies (though, the actual appearance of most Rakghouls and Nekghouls doesn’t bother me so much–the infected humans and transformations are really what creep me out) and Kaon is like a horror movie (I don’t watch horror movies). While Kaon’s environment and the various mobs bothers me, the actual bosses aren’t too bad (with the exception of the first “boss” but that is due to it being endless mobs).

Lost Island, however, I hate the bosses. Some of the Rakghouls go into creepy territory as well and there’s also some of the creepy humans. But not just that, I am personally uncomfortable with it. It is something I still, regardless of how many times I have finished it, feel like I am not good enough to be able to do it.

1. Mini Boss 1 – okayish I guess.
2. Boss 1 – Hits super hard. Very nerve-wracking.
3. Giant Robot of Doom. No further explanations needed.
4. Mini Boss 2 – Rhino guy. Hits hard with certain attacks and it’s random who he decides to hit. If not taken down fast enough, can be a problem trying to get everyone quickly healed back up.
5. Lava Pit boss – While his on the ground phase isn’t horrible (stay behind him and run inbetween his legs when he is going to smash), his pipe phase sucks. A healer may just need to heal in the middle, but those stupid rotting balls he throws at everyone hurts. Just a few of those things and you can be down half way or further. With the Noble Sacrifice nerfs, if he targets you quite a bit, it may not be long before everyone else manages to fall and that sucks and just really doesn’t help. If it wasn’t for those stupid balls (or the fact that they are targeted randomly), it probably wouldn’t be so bad of a fight. At this point, my faith is just in everyone getting him down ASAP and him mostly targeting the same person or the whole thing can come crashing down and it’ll be all my fault.
6. Finally, the final boss. He’s…not so bad once you learn the fight. Main issue is if the people you are with are all over instead of taking a path. Also, while the Raghoul virus grenade things can be cleansed, they can stack quite a bit. As long as you have good DPS though (and again, a good path to move in and people not staying too far–can’t heal you if you’re on the other side of the room), it’s not so bad anymore. …other than his transformation thing which bothers me personally due to previously expressed fears.

I’m not saying it should be on easy mode–I’m just saying it makes me nervous (though, the robot boss could use some nerfing to be honest). And due to my issues with zombies, I personally have problems with the flashpoint. And that is part of what bothers me so much. I was that close to not having to do it again (unless someone really needed a healer and asked me to help them out) and lost because someone figured they’d lose anyway.

With Gargath, I don’t mind him so repeating him was okay. But I hate Lost Island. It scares me, it stresses me out, and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable and nervous. If I was going to have an anxiety attack from this game, this flashpoint would most likely be the cause of it. (that or something being removed that I haven’t saved up for yet)

And even though my stats* aren’t horrible… I just… I can’t put into words how much I hate this flash point. I really wish Midnight Raklings were tradeable so I’d never have to do this flashpoint again. I don’t think I can properly explain just how much I hate it, but I hope this is enough I guess.

*For those who are curious about my stats (as of 8:41AM on June 29th, 2012)…

1.3 Beginning Progress

Unfortunately, my mood hasn’t changed much since my last entry. In fact, I probably feel worse after a few more mails and some messages that I’d rather not go into.

In the meantime, I’ve been doing my best to PVP so I can get Lobelisk. I did get Lawgriffarl already though (afterall, I saved ahead. Stupid normal warzone commendation limit):

I’ve also been working on Augment Kits. Unfortunately, I’m out of supplies right now so I can’t make more stuff to Reverse Engineer at the moment πŸ™ need more Damind Crystals especially. As expected though, criting on a Kit gives you 2 which is nice. Also bought all 3 ranks of the Field Repair/Vendor Droid and Field Mailbox, so I just need the Respec one which I’ll want just for the heck of it so while a priority, it’s much lower. (I would say current highest legacy priority is the GTN on ship still. Followed by Dummies.)

At the moment, I have Augmented (and will update this as I go):
PVE Chest Piece
PVE Bottom
PVE Gloves
PVE Boots
PVE Hat
Lightsaber
Bracers
Belt
Matrix Cube
Relic
PVE Offhand
Ear Piece
Implant
Other Implant
PVP Top
PVP Bottoms
PVP Hat

I still have to:
All done!

And then eventually:
PVP Gloves (still need to buy)
PVP Boots (Still need to buy)
PVP Off-hand

I will probably use Group Finder for Lost Island for the rest of the day after…but right now I just feel sad. And tired. :/ Didn’t sleep well at all.

Edit: Got Lobelisk!:

Also, so happy this works again:

And received my 2 Test Server titles πŸ™‚

Mixed feelings

Despite happiness earlier, it kind of went a little messy as the day went on to the point where now I feel more sad than anything.

Ignoring a whole issue with timing (Laying down taking longer and then not long after, being dragged off to go out to dinner), apparently when I signed off (due to not having slept in over 24 hours and still feeling ill from the previous day), it disconnected me. So, I was waited for…despite me saying I was going to go for a bit as I wasn’t feeling well and figured laying down a little could help–plus, more tanks would be on later and I would be back later.

I had been with someone who I made friends with and a new guildmate of ours at the time after various incidents.

Afterall, it started with one of our guildmates asking me about Lost Island HM knowing I was planning to do it after I got Taunling as much as I could. I was excited and said yes. We found two people to do it (after like 2 hours) with–a tank who hadn’t done it before and one of their guild mates for the other DPS. Obviously, if it’s your first try in Lost Island, there will be quite a few deaths. It’s not surprising at all and it can be a huge pain. However, we were all understandable. It was slow, but we continued through. When we got to the Robot, one of our DPS had to go after a few tries. Not long after, my guildmate disconnected. We waited…and waited…and after about 40 minutes, we realized we couldn’t keep waiting as our Tank was only able to play in early hours and he wouldn’t be able to stay too much longer. We ended up asking another one of my guildmates (and it was his first time in the FP as well) to come and they were happy to and after waiting a little longer, had to kick the other guildmate. After recruiting another DPS, it didn’t go too well (After all, the Robot Boss is harder with melee and 2 of the people in the FP were new to this), however, they couldn’t stay long either. Thankfully, a friend of mine was on who was willing to come.

So, after several tries, we get the Robot down, I learned we could skip the Rhino boss and we got to the lava-smashy-light on fire boss. Unfortunately, our guild member seemed to have some trouble figuring out exactly where to stand so he was pushed off a few times. Besides that, some people sticking too close together caused a bit too much damage. Eventually, our tank had to go and so I said it may be better to try and do it later (unfortunately, Lost Island did reset which sucks–I wish I knew what caused it to or how long it takes to reset a flashpoint) as we might be able to ask some of our guilds’ tanks to come and more people will be on so I could get some rest and we could take a small break. And this leads us to what I said to start. Because it disconnected me, apparently they waited and so I got back to an angry message in my inbox with just made me feel like utter crud for something out of my control and despite the fact that I was saying I’d be gone for a bit. I did respond explaining, but considering they signed on and no reply, I guess they didn’t care πŸ™

I also, once again, tried to see if anyone was selling Advanced Resolve Armoring 25 (as I need this at least to wear my new belt) or Advanced Resolve Armoring 26 (as I will need at least 6 of these to get my gear up–I already have one in my top). I got a response from someone letting me know they were making some of the Armoring 26 and that they’d be putting them up on the market tomorrow. Ignoring my personal feelings on the fact that I find those prices ridiculous (even if that’s apparently the going price), I responded truthfully that I never had 3 million in my entire time playing the game. I received a response back that pretty much said “that sucks” and they signed off before I could say anything else.

For the record, the most I ever had in this game is a little over 2 million and only once. I’m usually lucky if I have over 500K or over 1 million, but anything more is practically a miracle. …and apparently, that’s quite pitiful ._.

In a happier note, while I managed to get nothing else done, I did at least get those final 10 daily commendations and bought my Campaign Relic of Ephemeral Mending.

And in a confusing note, apparently there is an Imperial Character (who is also a healer) on Canderous Ordo named Marilea in a guild called DeathStarz. So much for my name being unique. So, I guess I should mention that I only play on Corellian Run. I do not have any characters on any other servers (with the exception of Marilea and Roseria also being on the Test Server) so…yeah. If I do make characters on a different server, I will be sure to add them to the Character Page. …and if you are that person who also picked the name Marilea, I guess I’m curious how you came up with it? Or something? I don’t know. I can’t even think of words to explain my feelings about this ATM. @-@ And since my boyfriend had to point it out, thank god we were a destination server. I have to wonder what would happen if they tried to transfer to the test server though. :/

For now, I’ll just get my computer and laptop to start patching and head to bed so I can play 1.3 ASAP (hopefully I will wake up early).

In which Math stresses me more

So, I haven’t done too much today. I checked Gargath twice–down both times :/ Just…not in the mood ATM. We did Lost Island…no pet drop. I got the mod I need so I just need the Advanced Resolve Armoring 25.

Anyway, since my boyfriend is in charge of getting me Power Crystals and things, I decided to figure out just how much stuff I need to make all the Augment Kits. It takes 10 of an item to get the 10 Augment Kit parts I need for each Augment Kit I need and I need to do them at level 47 at the lowest I can for the Level 6 Augment Kit parts.

I need about 20 Augment Kits (14 of them being priority–the other 6 = for PVP). That is, at 30K per Augment Kit attaching, 600K. (420K for 14)

Of course, pricing doesn’t stop there. The following is what is needed to make those 200 items I will have to make for those kits.

Each item I can make will take:
2 Zeyd-cloth (which cost 250 each)
4 Alien Artifact Fragments (Grade 5 Artifact Fragment)
6 Damind Crystal (Grade 5 Power Crystal)

So, for 200, that’s 400 Zeyd-cloth, 800 Alien Artifact Fragments, and 1,200 Damind Crystal. To get those 400 Zeyd-clothing, that is 100K. And my boyfriend has the painful experience to try to get that many of the other 2 things (of course, I could try to buy them…but we’re already at 700K and I don’t even have 600K). Of course, if we just do 14, that’s only 140 items which lessens it to 560 Alien Artifact Fragments, 840 Damind Crystal, and 280 Zeyd-cloth (which would cost 70K…so the cost would be 510K total just for priority).

Then, of course, there’s the price for actually constructing the Augment Kits as the 30K is just for attaching them.
10 x Augmentation Slot Component MK-6
2 x Subelectronic Data Module
2 x Primeval Artifact Fragment (Level 6 Artifact Fragment)
2 x Upari Crystal (Level 6 Power Crystal)
2 x Cortosis Substrate
^What you need (unless changed…but let’s hope not. Rather not re-do it all)

So, that’s a total of:
140-200 Augmentation Slot Component MK-6
280-400 Subelectronic Data Modules
280-400 Primeval Artifact Fragment
280-400 Upari Crystal
280-400 Cortosis Substrate (which costs 400 each so that’s a total of 112,000-160,000)

…yeah. I’ll have to work on more Slicing missions to get the Subelectronic Data Modules, though, I at least have enough for the priority amount (I have 300 total right now). …but I’m nowhere close on anything else.

So, in total, that’s 622K-860K for 14-20 Augment Kits. And that doesn’t even put into effect the cost for Artifact Fragments and Power Crystals.

…which I guess points out how I can’t even do that right .___. This also means my 2.5 million goal may be a bit too small and I may actually have to go for 3 million or so πŸ™
