Data Dump 1.5.2

So, another data dump has been posted up. Lots of pets (Most which have been mentioned before) and before I get to them, also something that looks like a Christmas event:

Cartel Market up on PTS :3

Yep! The Market is already up on the PTS so here are some overviews 😀

Firstly, if you didn’t guess from the preview video, the icon is a bright golden icon outside the blue menu bar (which is kind of annoying IMO but). It has it’s own interface section and thus, can be moved. :3

The pet besides the Monkey Lizard is the Ivory Mouse Horanth. It costs 240 credits right now, but I will not be listing that officially as prices could change on release.

The Cartel Packs are random :/ Unfortunately. You have a chance at certain items and junk. Crime Lord Cartel’s Pack has “The Pack Contains 5 Items, including 1 Boost Item, 1 Companion Gift, 1 rare crafting material, and 2 rare items.”

I opened one and received: Slate Mouse Horranth and Golden Lizardbat for my rare items. The chance of those pets actually being Cartel Items seems more likely and yes, this means the pet isn’t guaranteed and the amount of anger I am feeling right now is so high, it could explode a volcano. The Crime Lord’s Cartel Pack costs 360 Cartel Coins. The other three items I received were a Personalized Holoportrait, Mutagenic Paste, and a Minor Space Mission Experience Boost.

I also have 2400 coins to spell so I will not be purchasing the speeder (which is 720). The Carbonite Chamber is also 720, but that’s 50% off and thus, is nomally 1,440. The Rancor holo is only 180.

Race Unlocks are available. Interesting color crystals: Orange-Yellow and Pink-Purple. All the armor is ugly IMO, but you can wear them on any class.

My Black Market Cartel Pack (180) contained 1 boost, 1 companion item, and 1 rare item. :/ Mine had…oh, forget the stupid companion item, nobody cares so a Minor Flashpoint XP boost and a Ubrikki Crimson Claw–a new speeder where the speed actually goes up based on the piloting level you have.

You also have a chance at a Super Rare item from both–the Crime Lord having a higher chance.

Oh, and there’s apparently two new quickbars that can be used. So yay for people who wanted more quick bars–you now have them. And you can now preview your weapon. Yay.

Anyway, I opened up another of each pack.
Crime Lord: Ignoring the stupid stuff… I got a new emote–Menace. Also an Elegant Loungewear Top. The latter is a nice way of saying Blue and White Slavegirl outfit. I was very disappointed -_-

Black Market… I got another of the Menace Emote — I’m giving up with these.

So, 3 more Crime Lord’s (as that was all I could afford):
1. ANOTHER Menace Emote and the bottom to that stupid slavegirl outfit.
2. Low Atmosphere Miniprobe 🙁 + Covert Torso Energy Armor (This will be popular for a lot of people–more or less, it’s armor that is invisible so if you want to run around naked and still be geared, this is for you)
3. Longspur Elite (It seems all Cartel Speeders work the same way–speed goes up based off your training) + Ball Toss “Throws ball at target within 30 meters that bounces harmlessly off their head”.

Overall? I’m just frustrated and upset. 40+ pets that are most likely in the Cartel Shop AND are random to get AND are bound. *sighs* Will not update the pet list just yet either for obvious reasons. The Experience boosts can be traded though and suppoedly other items may be tradeable after 5 days but… :/ *sighs* EDIT: Items can be traded after 5 days. EDIT: Even shorter once live and for subscribers! Thank god. So now I’m just annoyed with how MANY they put in…and I hate random boxes. At least hopefully I can trade with my fellow pet collectors?

Ubrikki Sand Devil is apparently another speeder (see in photos above). Darth Hater has lots of screenshots of stuff. Other items seem to be an Imperial Banner and Revan’s Cowl. Apparently you can also get a white crystal. I feel bad for anyone who really wanted one–have fun paying for it. Also items that give you credits.

Apparently the pink-purple has a PVP version though so may need to try and get that at some point. :/

Also, the Thrones are mounts and there is a title: The Cartel Collector. And there’s a Darth Malgus Holo that lets you purchase your skills as you level. That’s handy…but why Darth Malgus? 😐

In Disney World + HM TfB!

So, I am at Disney World. What this means is I probably won’t update much! Regardless, I have my laptop and cellphone so I will be able to check things. I’ll just be partying in Disney and hanging out with Pooh and being a Magical Princess of magicalness.

MOVING ON… There’s going to be an Alt HM TfB 8-man run tomorrow! I’m so excited. It looks like I was confirmed so as long as everything goes well and I get back before 8:50, I will get to go!

I really hope we finish it :3 I will be saving my special need roll for the Deep Wriggler. ~~and if I am beaten I will cry and it will ruin my vacation~~

I just REALLY hope it drops as it seems it may actually be a 50% drop 🙁 ~~and if it doesn’t, I will cry~~

Finally gloves!

Yep, I finally got my gloves from EC HM which means I have the stats I want along with a 4-set bonus. Of course, I do pretty well with my force management (I’d like to think so anyway!) so if something happens and I have to kill it… I have no problem doing so 😛 Unfortunately, no mount drop which really sucked 🙁

Anyway, I may get to do TfB on Monday! I hope we do really well and I can finally get my Deep Wriggler T~T That would be the best thing ever.

I remember it being shown in a datadump some firework items… I wonder if they will be sold or something to celebrate. May be a Cartel Market item…speaking of which…

CARTEL MARKET PREVIEW

Breaking it down:
-Ignoring that the prices are totally marked out… The Carbonite Chamber returns! For those who may be unable to read what it says under it: “Impress your friends by encasing yourself in carbonite! Encase your character in Carbonite while using this effect. This Carbonite Chamber will rapidly heal your character while out of combat.”
-I have circled pets because pets. There is no other reason needed but pets. The Monkey Lizard that was already confirmed is there, however, it seems that there is one other with it. I would guess either a Wraid, Horranth, or Blurrg but I am unsure.
-New speeder! The Longspur Sportster
-It does look like the Cartel Packs are just packs of certain items and not cruel random boxes. The Monkey Lizard is part of the “Crime Lord’s Cartel Pack”. I sure hope the items can be sold/traded or they can be bought separately as I just want the Monkey Lizard.

And while I did not take a screenshot, the Holographic Rancor was also shown so yes, both of the other Fan Favorite voting participants will be available–just not given for free.

3. Orobird x6 – 3 were added in 1.2, although, one is still missing.

18. Rakghoul x6 – Added in 1.2. All 3 were released so this could possibly be more colors or, well, like I said…updated graphics.
19. Tauntaun x10 – Added in 1.2. All 5 were released–although, Smelly from Beta has technically not been (however, people say Tauntaun Ram is just Smelly renamed)
20. Vrblthr x6 – Mentioned in Data Dump 1.4
21. Womprat x6 – Mentioned in Data Dump 1.4
22. Wraid/Lobel x6 – Mentioned in Data Dump 1.4. Also Lobels were released in 1.3–2/3 have been able to be gotten with the Lobelode still not released yet.

As usual, I won’t really list anything until I see a more…understandable list on some of the databases, but as much as I love pets…that is a lot. Just…so much. And if the majority aren’t upcoming for the Cartel Shop… I’m not sure how they will be gotten. For reference, here is the 1.4 Data Dump. Due to the fact that there really isn’t anything new (of course, more colors are an option), I do feel this may just be a graphic update over brand new pets.

Going to the latter subject real quick, I was dragged into a random story mode operation for commendations…after dealing with lots of glitches, we managed to get KP. However, rather than Bonethrasher 1-shotting the Band, they came down and actually began to help us fight. It was kind of awesome. I made sure to heal them too (which was harder than it sounds when you’re the only healer to begin with). If only my screenshots worked 🙁

Yays and not so yays

So, Mr. Robot finally updated! 😀 very excited as now my thingy is up to date~ Looks like the amount of Surge lost for switching an Adept to an Enhancement just isn’t worth it. The little bit into 76% really won’t make that big of an issue with DR.

I may work on a thingy for my PVP gear as well soon.

Anyway, onto the not so yay’s… the first claim of not seeing the pet drop has come in 🙁 This, of course, means the drop is NOT 100% (although, it looks to still be quite high considering…)

if I wasn’t paranoid enough before, I am now 🙁

Cantina Tour + Encyclopedias + Petness

As usual, I will be talking about these in a different order than the title because I almost always do.

I recently received a message that the SWTOR Encylopedia I preordered will be shipping soon! If you are not familiar with it, it is not a guide book for the game, but actually a book that goes further into the writings and stories of the characters. If you’re interested in the lore and the story, you may find this interesting. It is why I got it and maybe also for hints of things to come too! It is written by the various writers of SWTOR so if you enjoy the player stories and companions, there is sure to be something of interest 🙂

Besides that, apparently this is happening! I kind of wish it was a different day in NYCC or at least actually in the building (I have asthma and Manhattan blocks suck >_>), but I guess we’ll see if our schedule can allow it. If it does, I will do my best to update with anything interesting! I really hope we can go, but will just need to see how things will work out.

Finally, someone on our server has gotten the Deep Wriggler. Nobody I know personally (which is probably better as I’d glare at them forever), but it’ll be a little disheartening everytime I see it 🙁 just one pet to go and so close, yet so far away… afterall, it’s not like I can just always go or anything either. To think, there’s a 100% pet and I don’t even think I’ll be able to get that anytime soon… by the time I may finally get to try for it, I bet the drop rate will be changed 🙁

Wonderous Egg has never been out and nobody has one

Yep. I got a response, they went through the information and our answer:

So I passed everything on to our dev folk for investigation, I can confirm for you that no one has ever gotten the wondrous egg. My only guess can be that folks may have gotten it mixed up with the other egg (an easy mixup for sure). I also fear that the information you received from our CS agents appears to be incorrect, at least as far as we can tell, no one has ever gotten the egg nor has it been distributed in-game.

As for why it was mentioned in the Patch Notes… I’m guessing it just changed all the data on the eggs and they just wrote them all there as it was technically updated…even if not out yet. Afterall, the white crystal has been around for how long now? 😛 Just not actually achievable.

What I would like to know though…who thought this was a good rumor to start? And why did so many sites put up this information without any facts clarified? It’s…frustrating.

At least it’s finally over. However, rumors say it may be the pet in Nightmare Explosive Conflict.

(on a happier note, got my enhancements yay~ Unfortunately, down to 180K due to ripping stuff out. Sorry, but I worked too hard on my 26’s to just replace them 🙁 )

Follow-ups

So, we have a few follow-ups to things…

1. The Cave – It totally slipped my mind to make a post besides just updating the cave post. I will continue to just put theories there, but for those who have missed it, a new clue was released:

Martin_smith: I wouldn’t worry about it right now
Martin_smith: read the words

This obviously brings up a few issues. Exactly what is being referred to with the second sentence–the red text itself (“You feel a strange and chilling presence.”) or the first thing he said?

Secondly, the first part alone… This could mean:
A. It’s something not in game right now
and/or
B. Just something that can’t be done right away

I’m going to quote one of my comments real quick in reference to B:

Another idea is just that it requires multiple people to have something so you wouldn’t be able to do it right away. Kind of furthers my wondering over the first high drop rate pet as you’d only be able to get 1 a week so it would be 16 weeks (4 months) of completing HM TfB before everyone would have one.

…that’d be so cruel though.

As Telanis pointed out, technically 16 people could just go in after and then, if 16 people finished, and it was a locked out instance, yes, any 16 can go. On the otherhand, if it wasn’t, you’d need to have a group together for that first boss and the mobs on the way to the second boss.

Going on to the next follow-ups… The Wonderous Egg and Lobelode from a Dev:

To the Lobelode and the Wonderous Egg, the answer is that these two pets are not yet distributed in-game. I think this may have been a case of the community getting mis-informed by data mining.

I responded back with my concerns on the Wonderous Egg and why I had asked (The Lobelode doesn’t surprise me much, but it is nice to have that confirmed) and he asked for some links where I had been told about the Wonderous Egg and seen the information. Hoping for a response back as that is something he will definitely try and get more information on as it’s a very…odd situation.

Regardless, hopefully this means the fully confirmed answers aren’t far off and we’ll know soon. I will be moving the Lobelode off the Pet List for now.

and to end this, I wish I had 900K-1.2 million to get some Adept Enhancement 27’s 🙁
