Adventures in Customer Service :P

So, after trying for 2 days, I finally got in touch with Customer Service today! Of course, they had to forward me to someone else and then I was on hold again for like an hour…but then another person helped me and just a few clicks and done! The cartel coins I was supposed to get this month for my subscription renewing were there :3 So I bought a Crime Lord box and a Black Market box (couldn’t afford any others) and got the following rare items:
1. Slate Mouse Horranth
2. Max-Tac Precision Rifle
3. Tythonian Force-Master’s Lightsaber – My boyfriend claimed this immediately. 😛

Of course, I ran into ANOTHER glitch upon logging in… my account was suddenly free to play 😐 Upon logging out and back in, my account was back to “normal”, but I had to re-slot everything :/ Also, all items that were given through mail were gone like my Taun Fawn and Minimech CE and Tauntaun Ram and PTS titles and etc. which was very odd considering you’re not supposed to lose anything when going Preferred or Free to Play. Thankfully, all of the things you would receive in mail were re-sent to me…which I then took everything out and re-did it, but very very odd. I sent a bug report so hopefully that gets fixed as I had a heart attack twice over it >_> I’m still worried I may be missing something :/

On the bright side, I did finally get my Heroes’ Banner because of this:

Also, Thank you Telanis for the statue T~T I sent your rifle! <3 (oh, and I made this suggestion thread…timing how long until someone tells me off for it :/ )

Edit: oh and I played with some of the voiced emotes. As a quick note, they apparently have a far range on where they can be heard (I accidentally annoyed the fleet T__T) and some obviously still need to be voiced (And thus, in whatever section(s) you have emotes to be listed, it’ll say [Wordless *EMOTE* – Actor to improvise])

Preparing for HK-51

So, first of all, I will apologize by how this may be written as I am sick with sinuses and bad dayness and junk.

Anyway, as most people know, I was planning to park where the quest giver is on the fleet… BUT THEN I REALIZED SOMETHING. What is that something, you may ask even if you’re not actually asking but I am pretending you are?

Two items are sold by Collector Kezzit, a Jawa Vendor in Outlaw’s Den. Now, there already is a Jawa Vendor, but this is apparently a different one who also apparently appears where Blearg is… I don’t know if Collector Kezzit will take over his stock or Blearg will be moved, but out of paranoia, I went and bought the Gurian Shadow ahead of time. So I guess I made progress in my speeder collection afterall.

I figure after I quickly buy the items and hopefully do so before someone can kill me and/or aggro the vendor, I will then teleport to the fleet and grab the quest. From there, I will then teleport to the Black Hole Daily area and use the shuttle to get to Section X quickly and then I WILL BE READY TO BEGIN.

and of course, lots of Cartel Box opening while I do this. I will probably stream to record what I get and better keep track of it while writing it down.

I just have to hope my boyfriend will be ready to go to as we will not have time to waste >_>

So, they recently updated with maintenance info and well:

Time: 12AM CST (10PM PST/1AM EST/6AM GMT/7AM CET/5PM AEDT) until 12PM CST (10AM PST/1PM EST/6PM GMT/7PM CST/5AM AEDT)

All game servers, SWTOR.com, and the launcher will be offline during this period. This maintenance is expected to take no more than twelve hours.

Well, I’m hoping since they gave themselves such a large amount of time, it won’t be delayed. While I understand sometimes there just are…I only have a few set hours to get things done and if it gets pushed back too far, I shall be sad T~T

Regardless, I will get up early and stalk the launcher anyway. Not only to patch ASAP, but just incase. *DETERMINED*

Also, thank you to everyone who has offered to give me pets T~T I really appreciate it…especially considering how many are in the box just as rare and how many are in as super rare .__. but yes, I shall be sure to update the lists ASAP and hopefully we’ll manage to get them all T~T

Cartel Market Items

So, SWTOR Spy recently put up a list of items that will be in boxes…

I don’t think all of these will be available immediately (someone in the comments says that some are for later) and I noticed some I got on the test server aren’t there as well so I’m not sure what to think…but it does give a bit of idea.

…so many mounts and pets ._.

Edit: So those are apparently the Super Rare items. Which means a good amount of the pets are “Super Rare”. Super Rare = special bonus item not included of the 3/5.

I’m going to go cry 🙁

1.5 – November 15th

So, in a week, 1.5 will be upon us. This will bring:

1. Nightmare EC (I will have to add that stupid tank mount to my list. I also have only a week to try and get all the speeders I still need… I don’t see myself getting the Ranked Warzone one–EC HM one is iffy… but I can always try to save for the ones I need to buy*)
2. HK-51 and new dailies + new world boss. I will be on immediately when patch goes up. FYI CERTAIN PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHO THEY ARE.
3. The Cartel Market

So, in Nightmare EC, there was confirmed there would be a pet. I do feel it may be the Wonderous Egg (afterall, how did that rumor start?), but there is no confirmation… if it is though, at least it can be traded so I can just hope someone pities my sad existence outside the doorway.

I’ve already prepared enough gifts to get HK to 10K so yay. I’ll probably be camping myself near where the NPC will spawn the night before so I can grab the quest and head on over to Section X. I don’t really care about getting him geared out right away–I don’t expect to use him much afterall. I just want to see is story.

Still mixed feelings on the Cartel Market. Apparently it will be 5 dollars for 450 Cartel Coins so a bit under a direct transition which kind of stinks.. however, that’s been the kind of thing most cash shops have done lately :/ Still stinks though. I’ll be getting 2800 complementary though… plus a bonus 250 during the actual launch. I still feel it may be slightly off though… and well, I hope that 500 per subscribed month after launch is true. That’d be nice. I plan on buying the speeder and pet available plus 2 of the tops…rest will be spent on packs though.

I just really wish they’d make a list of everything you can get ._. Regardless, I have prepared a trade page and everyone in the Pet Channel is awesome so… shall just hope for the best.

*I have been asked a lot why I didn’t just buy these when they were cheaper. To be honest, if I could, I would have. However, my choices were between stuff that would be GONE and thus, would probably go up to ridiculous points or just the speeders sticking around. In the end, the money went towards the Koreallis Speeders, one of the Prime speeders that was rumored to be going, and to help my boyfriend get his white lightsaber crystal. Sure, I wanted one too, but I knew he wanted it more so that is where all my money went. And it sucks I couldn’t get the speeders at a lower price, but I don’t regret what I did use the credits for.

So, at my grandparents’ house because we still have no power! Thus, I will be quickly doing a livestream to play around with boxes.

I will edit when it is over :3 But recording will stay up so I can further analyze percentages~ yay~

Edit: All done. Didn’t manage to get a Gizka, Vrblett, or Monkey Lizard, sadly. Didn’t really get much new from my last one and still have yet to get a color crystal. I will go ahead and throw this under “wow, my luck sure does suck”.

Cartel Shop Questions

So, Some questions were answered about the Cartel Shop so I figured I’d put some of the ones that caught my attention here.

Tatile: It’s been mentioned that Darth Nihilus’ mask dropped from one of the gambling boxes. Is everything in the boxes available outside of them or are some things exclusive? If so, which?

Blaine: A large portion of the items in the Cartel Packs are exclusive to the packs. The great news for anyone who does not want to purchase Cartel Packs is all items in the store can be traded (and thus gifted to friends!) and sold on the Galactic Trade Network. This means that you can get what you want via the GTN if you are patient and have the in-game credits to spend. Also important to note is this is just the start of the offerings you will see for sale in the Cartel Market. As we gather information and feedback on what players want to see, we will certainly make adjustments.

So, as expected, most of them will be exclusive to the boxes… which stinks :/ At least trading will be possible.

VarrusTheEthical: How often can we expect new content to appear on the Cartel Market?

Blaine: You’ll see regular adjustments to the Market that line up with game patches. We plan to make content additions as often as once a month (including new Cartel Packs!), but the major releases will be every 4-6 months.

….I really don’t want to see a new Cartel Pack every month. ._.

Dscount: If I purchase an “Account Wide” Cargo bay does it incrementally add one to each existing character and future characters I create? So my 50 with 3 bays would get a 4th, but my new character would get a complete 2nd bay and my other toon with 2 would get a 3rd bay.

Blaine: Yes, you have it exactly right if you are a Subscriber. The main difference for a Free-to-Play Player is that you must purchase the ability to access the Cargo Hold before you can purchase additional bays, so you could be in a position where you have purchased the access on a character basis, but not an account basis, then if you purchase account wide expansion bays, they would only apply to characters that had purchased the Cargo Hold access first. And last, but not least, remember that Preferred Status players automatically get Cargo Hold access. *whew*

Well, this is good for people who wanted more storage.

Darthbuckets: If I choose to purchase an account-wide unlock and use it, do new characters I create automatically get the items unlocked (or is it only applied to existing characters)?
Do the account-wide or Legacy unlocks apply to characters / Legacies on different servers?

Blaine: Thanks for asking this question, as it points out just how much value the purchase of Account-wide unlocks is for our players. Account wide will in fact apply to new characters and will span across servers, so when you see the relatively modest price increase for the account unlock, you start to see just how valuable this can be!
