So, a new patch comes and besides fixes, there’s the inevitable edition of new Cartel Items (plus new discounts and the removal of all the Life Day and Anniversary related stuff).

What really caught my attention though is the Czerka CR-17 Incendia. Why? Ignoring my collectingness, it’s actually because of this:

The protection provided from being knocked off this vehicle is greater than Speeder Piloting III.

I’m not really sure what to think about it, but it makes me feel a little down. Especially as I personally prefer 2 other speeders and for the best protection, I’d have to use that one 🙁 It also costs 1,800 Cartel Coins X__x And is a model I know a lot of people have wanted.

Besides that, there’s 3 new armor sets: Sand People Pillager Set, The Sanctified Caretaker Set, and the Malevolent Interrogator Set at 1,440 each and a special Preferred Player’s Pack which has a bundle of stuff. I don’t really care for any of them though.

On the bright side, I found someone to sell me a Flamehair Kowakian Monkey-lizard so I have all the pets again. Yay. Just 10 Skip Tracer items and 2 Blockade Runner items to go now…

It’s a nice touch how both Monkey-lizards laugh differently when right clicked too.

Also used the Cartel Coins I got from being a subscriber for another chance at the Skip Tracer packs… Got a Red-Orange crystal and a Republic Banner 🙁 *sighs*

New Cartel Pack

Skip Tracer Cartel Pack is now out costing 360 like usual. I’m patching (unfortunately didn’t get a chance to patch early like I usually do) I’ve finished patching and will be probably buy some to check it out. I’m expecting pets and knowing my luck, I will probably not get any of them.

I think I’ll just have a nervous breakdown over here :3

Apparently the backflip emote is out and the rare ship pets may be out but we shall see… Also a Holo-Shrub disguise which sounds neat.

obviously, I want any emotes/mounts/moods/pets I haven’t heard about yet though. That’s kind of a given. And then for Cartel stuff I still need… a white crystal, a cyan-blue crystal (that isn’t endurance), and the throne and Meditation chair from the last pack 🙁

For reference, the only mount I got was the Longspur Pacer… pets I got–the ones that have pictures and say so in the pet check list, and I didn’t get any titles, emotes, or moods v-v

After Dreadtooth is defeated, Dreadful Resurgence no longer persists. Dreadful Essence must be used to increase Dreadtooth’s difficulty.
Dreadtooth’s difficulty when he is affected by 3 or more applications of Dreadful Resurgence has been decreased

About the only part that caught my interest 😛 Time to save up essences and yay for easierness~

Warning: Ability Limits Exist

So, a while ago, I made a post trying to figure out why some users could have more pets/vehicles than others.

Today, I received a reply back from the person who inspired the post.

Quoting them momentarily:

Just a follow up.

Received an email from CS which states that pets and vehicles are considered “skills” once learned.

And SWTOR has a total skill cap including your pets/vehicles/character skills/Legacy skills/etc.

That is the reason why some have more pets/mounts than others who already are at a cap.

Different classes already have different amount of skills but I think the most difference is with legacy unlocks.

Although I was lvl 50 already I purchased for instance all exp boost character perks as well as the general legacy perks.

If ´the system counts every “step” (5) of each exp ladder as an individual passive skill than it is no wonder that I am capped.

Well I have an open ticket since 12-22 to let CS delete 20 vehicles (vendor mounts) and reinstalate those as an item for me to put on the bank. With those 20 slots free I would learn my 8 pets and 6 speeders from the newest cartel packs and have 6 slots left open for the 4 vehicles I still need to collect.

That is…pretty awful. Kind of glad I haven’t gotten some of the Legacy stuff now (like the cooldowns or a few other things), however, this puts a huge dent in my plans too. And new skills will be coming with Makeb so… I may end up sending an e-mail to Customer Service and having some of my vehicles turned “off” and putting them in my own bank now. :/ Only keeping limited/no longer around ones “learned” on my character along with a few favorites. As much as I want to collect mounts too, I am a bigger pet person so… 🙁 Just really sucks. However, while I haven’t gotten the Dominator’s Throne yet (which I guess is good), I actually would want the Diplomat’s Meditation Throne for the few I’d keep as I really love the flying holocrons and it matches Mari’s dress.

Overall though, I’m…kind of just depressed about this and REALLY paranoid now v-v Will at the very least see if I can learn any information on the cap.

Crates + Wonderousness

So, apparently the Czerka Crate-o-Matic has been going for crazy prices. Not only is one up for 250 million, but apparently one sold for 90 million. Dear god. I don’t know how I managed to get mine for a million.

Besides that, despite the Wonderous Egg being said not to exist, there’s still a few people going around saying they swore they saw one. While I can understand people mixing up the birds, which bird comes from which egg, and/or where each egg comes from, mixing up the words Unusual, Mysterious, and Wonderous is a bit harder.

I just wish more could be done about it. Unfortunately, nobody knows the names of people who sold them…or if they even sold and if they did, who bought them, it’s just a giant mess.

…and I’ll admit, part of me is still paranoid ._.

and now stuck PVPing @-@ but I hit 80 valor! Yay!

Duhtect surprised me with a Tundra Nekarr Cat! T~T WHICH MEANS MY PET COLLECTION IS COMPLETE AGAIN. YAAAAY.

And now we’re doing HM TfB @-@ I got gloves and all the HM Survived by titles so yay! Too bad it’s not a DKP run though–maybe I could’ve used some of it already. 😛 But oh well, at least I got something.

And then we even went to Dreadtooth 😀 YAYNESS. And Tourch was nice and gave me the mask so now I have part of the puzzle! WOO.

And even my boyfriend got to come <3

Limit of Abilities

I’ve seen this once on the forum and mentioned a few times to me on here about users having their amount of mounts and pets cut off. The number seems to vary as to where, but more or less, when they try to learn a new pet or mount, the learning happens and the item/pet disappears, but the respective item/pet does not actually appear in the abilities tab.

Essentially, you have just lost the item you used. Customer Service is usually able to give the item back to you if this happens, but this doesn’t fix the problem long-term as all you can do is hold the item until this is fixed.

I have yet to have this problem and currently have 40 Pets and 59 Mounts (The Mounts total is including Rocket Boots). However, with some theories over this being a combined total of the 2, I wondered…what if it’s a combination of all abilities? I’ve found Sages have less abilities than a lot of other classes, which made setting up my bars from them much easier than with my Agent.

So, firstly, a survey:

Ability-wise:
Sage: 18
Consular: 23
General: 8
Legacy: 14 (All Social, All Valor, All Priority Transport Passes, Mail Droid, Repair Droid, Legacy Lightning Storm, Legacy Project)
Vehicles: 59
Pets: 40
Total: 162.

To compare on non-vanity abilities, my level 41 Operative:
Imperial Agent: 28
Operative: 20

As you can see, not only more in the original class–but the advancement as well.

Not to mention, if you have a Companion out, you also have a bonus 20 Abilities added on which would bring my Sage’s total to 182.

Regardless, I don’t see anything missing. So, if anyone feels like helping, please vote on the poll and leave a comment saying:
1. If this has happened to you before
2. How many abilities you have in each section.

Maybe we can at least figure something out 🙁 And hopefully it can be fixed soon!

Spreading Joy and Pets~

So, as what I have usually been doing lately, I went and said in Trade Chat that I was looking for a Tundra Nekarr Cat.

This sparked some pet discussion in general chat of some people looking to buy them and asking about them. And being the pet guide writer on the forum, I WAS ON THIS LIKE NOBODY’S BUSINESS. XP I may or may not have a pet signal.

Thus, after answering lots of questions, I invited this person to group as to not further bother General Chat. We went through all the pets explaining how to get them 😀 And what pets he can get at level 25 and then to start him in his journey on Pethood, I gave him some of the extras I have been holding for this very kind of purpose (and to help people in the Pet Channel)!

He also joined the Pet Channel 😀 Then I showed him how to hatch an Unusual Egg!

Dreadtooth, Alts, and things

First of all, I am starting to give up hope on the Tundra Nekarr Cat ever going down 🙁 WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME? Oh, you have money finally? NOW YOU WILL STILL NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD IT (and/or never see it in the first place).

Moving on, I really wish I could stalk Dreadtooth for groups. See, these are the things I’d usually do, but he has that stupid debuff to everyone outside the group that pulls and has pretty big aggro range (he chased after me at least 3 times now) so it’s just…not really a great area to watch 🙁 I still need all his codexes though and haven’t even gotten to fight him once… just bleh. If I could camp him and solo him, I’d spend the day doing that–fighting him from 1-5 or maybe higher for testing loot and theories and things. But finding a group of 24 to do that is fairly unlikely. Nobody really cares about those things and I’m sure the cave would be solved if people were up for more experimenting

I don’t really like depending on people so I don’t ask for favors very much. Mostly because there isn’t much I can usually do to repay the person in the first place. Of course, MMOs require a lot of working together…but I’ve noticed most of the time, nobody has that same curiousity that I do. They just shrug it off and that’s it which means I’ll be alone again. Maybe it may be silly, but is there anything wrong with partaking in an adventure every now and then?

Regardless, hopefully we’ll get Amidaia and Revenent done and then we will probably get on Cellina and Valda…. or maybe I can convince him to help Speederisk 1 and 2 *bricked*

But yes, just trying to keep my hopes up… TUNDRA NEKARR CAT GO DOWN ALREADY GOD.

and I still have to finish space missions too…but…space missions ._.

Blurrgs + Press Release

A lot of people think Blurrgs are ugly. I don’t really see why? Okay, well, maybe kind of, but I think all pets are cute deep down.

Plus, lots of people like Gizka’s and they seriously just look like fat Gizka’s:

Anyway, it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting much done today sadly 🙁 But hopefully tomorrow may have a bit more progress when it comes to getting things done before the expansion.

Pets and Surviving

So, I logged on to discover… MAILS FILLED WITH PETS 😀 THANK YOOOOU T~T <3 Now, I just have the Speckled Blurrg and Tundra Nekarr Cat to go for pets 😀 Yay! Also got a Remote Control Spaceship <3 And the Mounts are down a bit more... to like 3 million. Title is like 200K. It's nice to feel progress <3 Besides that, due to some discussion on certain codexes... why are the "Survived" codexes so buggy? Some I obviously won't have yet, but others... not so much. In a different note, I wish there was a good way people in the pet channel could post what pets and stuff they still need 🙁
