New Cartel Pack

Skip Tracer Cartel Pack is now out costing 360 like usual. I’m patching (unfortunately didn’t get a chance to patch early like I usually do) I’ve finished patching and will be probably buy some to check it out. I’m expecting pets and knowing my luck, I will probably not get any of them.

I think I’ll just have a nervous breakdown over here :3

Apparently the backflip emote is out and the rare ship pets may be out but we shall see… Also a Holo-Shrub disguise which sounds neat.

obviously, I want any emotes/mounts/moods/pets I haven’t heard about yet though. That’s kind of a given. And then for Cartel stuff I still need… a white crystal, a cyan-blue crystal (that isn’t endurance), and the throne and Meditation chair from the last pack 🙁

For reference, the only mount I got was the Longspur Pacer… pets I got–the ones that have pictures and say so in the pet check list, and I didn’t get any titles, emotes, or moods v-v

After Dreadtooth is defeated, Dreadful Resurgence no longer persists. Dreadful Essence must be used to increase Dreadtooth’s difficulty.
Dreadtooth’s difficulty when he is affected by 3 or more applications of Dreadful Resurgence has been decreased

About the only part that caught my interest 😛 Time to save up essences and yay for easierness~

So, a while ago, I made a post trying to figure out why some users could have more pets/vehicles than others.

Today, I received a reply back from the person who inspired the post.

Quoting them momentarily:

Just a follow up.

Received an email from CS which states that pets and vehicles are considered “skills” once learned.

And SWTOR has a total skill cap including your pets/vehicles/character skills/Legacy skills/etc.

That is the reason why some have more pets/mounts than others who already are at a cap.

Different classes already have different amount of skills but I think the most difference is with legacy unlocks.

Although I was lvl 50 already I purchased for instance all exp boost character perks as well as the general legacy perks.

If ´the system counts every “step” (5) of each exp ladder as an individual passive skill than it is no wonder that I am capped.

Well I have an open ticket since 12-22 to let CS delete 20 vehicles (vendor mounts) and reinstalate those as an item for me to put on the bank. With those 20 slots free I would learn my 8 pets and 6 speeders from the newest cartel packs and have 6 slots left open for the 4 vehicles I still need to collect.

That is…pretty awful. Kind of glad I haven’t gotten some of the Legacy stuff now (like the cooldowns or a few other things), however, this puts a huge dent in my plans too. And new skills will be coming with Makeb so… I may end up sending an e-mail to Customer Service and having some of my vehicles turned “off” and putting them in my own bank now. :/ Only keeping limited/no longer around ones “learned” on my character along with a few favorites. As much as I want to collect mounts too, I am a bigger pet person so… 🙁 Just really sucks. However, while I haven’t gotten the Dominator’s Throne yet (which I guess is good), I actually would want the Diplomat’s Meditation Throne for the few I’d keep as I really love the flying holocrons and it matches Mari’s dress.

Overall though, I’m…kind of just depressed about this and REALLY paranoid now v-v Will at the very least see if I can learn any information on the cap.

Another Dreadtooth down!

Thanks to Telanis, I got invited along and got him down at 4 stacks! 😀 It took a few tries (I think we could’ve gotten it in 2 if it wasn’t for some of the glitches we had), but we did it! And I got a new codex: CORRUPTED.

Now, after speaking to Netto, he said he didn’t get any new codex with 2 but got Corrupted with 3. So, I believe Normal is 1-2 Stacks, Corrupted is 3-4 stacks, 5-6 Stacks is Frenzied, and 7 Stacks is Nightmareish. He can’t have more than 7 stacks so… I know this was kind of debated on, but I feel it’s a bit more confirmed now.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the 7 stack is also where the amulet may drop, if it does drop from him.

SO MUCH SPECULATION T~T I do wonder if a team of 24 right now could get Dreadtooth down on 7 stacks or if they have been planning for that level increase this entire time…

My Codexes

As most people know, I worked really hard on getting my codexes fixed, so this is a list of all the codexes I have XD Including numbers and other things by request @-@ (YOU’RE WELCOME TELANIS). If you’ve checked my codex list and survived by list, you know I’m missing 7 Codexes from Achievements: Epic Enemies (2 which are Survived by ones I should have), 4 PVP codexes (2 which are glitched–1 from Ilum despite having done that while Ilum is still around and the other glitched one is from Novare Coast, the other 2 are from getting my valor rank up), 1 Lore (Tatooine–glitched), and all the new Space Combat ones because I suck at Space Combat.

Anyway, let’s get started :3 And remember, some of these are Jedi Consular only @-@

Playing my Agent and doing some Companion stuff. Really sad that I had to kill Rholl. Kaliyo needs to stop being so greedy. Wish I could’ve escaped faster and tried the other choice >< Maybe he'd still be alive then. Back to finishing Death Marks and then hopefully will finish up Belsavis with my boyfriend~ Edit: Yay for the reset button....but now I am being dragged off to Belsavis so I shall have to finish it later 🙁 Edit 2: Finished our story on Belsavis! Also got 2 datacrons. Was nice to actually walk the laser bridge (so scary) instead of crazy cliff jumping. Edit 3: WHY IS A CORTESS AFTER ME? I left your house along! AND YOUR FATHER KILLED YOUR MOTHER FOR BEING EVIL. I DID NOTHING. WHY COME AFTER ME? I've been nice and awesome. You all are liars 🙁 Edit 4: I reset and picked the Light side choice and STILL had to kill the Wookie *depressed* T___T Edit 5: HE LOVED YOU. WHY SO CRUEL, KALIYO? T____T Edit 6: Poor Ona 🙁 ...also I want The Menace's/Ona's armor. Edit 7: WATCHER X WHAT ARE YOU DOING. KEEPER NO. Developer Blog, Guilds, KP, and Jokes

Lots to talk about in this entry! Some good, some bad… I’ll once again probably not talk in order.

Did a random KP story mode with Prongs and Tourch. It…didn’t go as well as it could have, but it wasn’t horrible. I ended up doing some of the puzzle by myself while occasionally throwing down heals and a battle resurrection @-@ But we got through it and the helmet dropped! And Tourch was nice and gave it to me 😀 So now I have it. I also got 2 new schematics <3 I'm also now only 30 Black Hole Commendations away from being able to get my other implant @-@ Moving on, there is a new developer’s blog! It talks about some of Makeb’s upcoming stuff so as usual, thinks I am excited about :3

We’ve got new Operations, new Flashpoints, new difficulty modes, new PvP areas, and of course, the entire Digital Expansion: Rise of the Hutt Cartel (which is targeted at our high level players).

Which would be more exciting if I didn’t still have so much to do 😀 I would say I probably dislike the new difficulty modes thing the most as I really hate how the difficulty modes work to begin with. I already hate doing a flashpoint/operation more than once, do I really need to do it on different difficulties too? X__x Although, it probably just means NM TfB.

Overall, we’re aiming to introduce a more diverse array of activities – more stuff to do with your Companion, more challenges to tackle with groups, and more reasons for guilds to recruit. We’ll also be improving our itemization, introducing new incentives to revisit existing areas, and a lot of other exciting things that will be revealed as we move through the upcoming year.

I just hope it’s not big groups. Those are always a pain to get together *STARES AT EMPTY DREADTOOTH RESEARCH* 😐 I don’t really understand itemization much, but I’m always up for new quests and more lore objects and things.

I think you will see (fairly soon) the answer to this question in the game itself – something big is coming to the Western Ice Shelf, but it’s quite a departure from what was there before.

This makes me think the possible World Event on Ilum is still happening and still planned for sometime this month.

You should expect to see this come within the first part of this year. It will provide free character copies to PTS at any time (with possible restrictions dependent upon our testing needs at any given time).

I want to reveal today that we are adding SGR with some NPCs on Makeb and do intend on pursuing more SGR options in the future.

^This should also make many people happy.

But yes, regardless, I am quite excited for upcoming things! Just… wish it was on better terms.

As a lot of people know, I am once again guildless. Mar-gon left so my leaving shouldn’t be a surprise. In general, certain things just made us quite upset. No matter how mad you are at someone or how much you may dislike someone, that’s just…never a reason. Ever 🙁 And… giving me ultimatums isn’t nice either ._.

Overall, I’m pretty down about it and I just…wish guilds weren’t so important sometimes. Not to mention it makes things iffy, even with friends. There’s several people I can think of, who even if I’ve run into them and things have been fine, I’m just too shy to contact and then it eventually just doesn’t happen. There is no talking. I miss a lot of people due to that and it makes me sad that list is going to grow.

Finally, I’m a serious person. I get my feelings hurt easily, especially more so on days when I’m not feeling well or already in a bit of a down mood. I can’t tell when people are being sarcastic–I’m really dense with that. And if I say stop and you continue, it’s not funny. It never was funny. You’re just being a jerk.

And yet I end up feeling bad for not getting the joke. And when it comes down to it, I really really shouldn’t.

But that seems to be the trend. Because I’m naive and shy and serious, I should feel bad for not finding a joke funny or sticking to my morals, or being too shy to say something, or not wanting to have nightmares all night. And that really isn’t true…the person who should feel bad is the one who can’t respect how another person feels and has to make them feel like crud for existing.

That’s what is really sad.

A few people have noticed I haven’t been on much…the reason for this is actually because I’ve been sick. I wasn’t feeling too well when the TfB run was happening and while we didn’t finish (we did start late), I was doing pretty miserable by the end of it and I ended up getting worse than I expected. Regardless, I am okay (allergies are just evil) and getting better! So I look forward to playing more soon~

However, despite not being on too much, things have been a bit crazy and I’m just wishing it’d stop. I seem to be cursed with these kinds of things and I’m pretty tempted to just… stop being in guilds altogether. It’s just depressing at this point.

Crates + Wonderousness

So, apparently the Czerka Crate-o-Matic has been going for crazy prices. Not only is one up for 250 million, but apparently one sold for 90 million. Dear god. I don’t know how I managed to get mine for a million.

Besides that, despite the Wonderous Egg being said not to exist, there’s still a few people going around saying they swore they saw one. While I can understand people mixing up the birds, which bird comes from which egg, and/or where each egg comes from, mixing up the words Unusual, Mysterious, and Wonderous is a bit harder.

I just wish more could be done about it. Unfortunately, nobody knows the names of people who sold them…or if they even sold and if they did, who bought them, it’s just a giant mess.

…and I’ll admit, part of me is still paranoid ._.

and now stuck PVPing @-@ but I hit 80 valor! Yay!

Progressing slowly

We didn’t get too much done on our characters yesterday, though, I think Cellina is in the last stretch of her story quest on Belsavis. I was kind of confused though when I got all these letters about SCORPIO from Vector though… Vector, we don’t have her yet 🙁

I’d like to think we’ll be finished with Belsavis the next time we play [those characters].
