Mysterious Egg grants Orosquab

Considering this is #2, I’m pretty sure Wonderous Egg is in and probably grants Orochick which would cover all 3.

Anyway, apparently Orosquab drops off the final boss of Lost Island–only Hard Mode version of the flashpoint has been confirmed at this time and it’s unknown if it drops every time or not.

It can be hatched just like Orokeet.

So… not really sure what to do. Guess I’ll try and find a group to go on the flash point? But I heard it’s hard and I don’t even know how normal will go so I’m more than a little paranoid. Especially with the new mechanics for sages 🙁 I don’t want to let anyone down.

I don’t know why you people are here reading this. It confuses me so. (I’m not even sure how you found it?)

Regardless, this update won’t really be much of an update at all. It won’t be finding new things or being excited. Because unfortunately, as exciting as 1.2 was and as happy as I’ve been to get some mysteries solved, today has actually not been very good.

Drama sucks. Especially when the reason it happens is because the other person makes something up and nobody else has the guts to say anything.

And then when you try to fix it, you just make things worse.

So, I’m definitely trying to figure out more with the pets and all the new 1.2 stuff (We ended up not getting further than Voss because of what happened so we never even checked out the new flashpoint or anything)…but my heart isn’t into it because I just feel sad and frustrated due to the stupidity of someone else.

Considering this kind of drama is what ruined the last game I really enjoyed, I really don’t want this to happen again.

I won’t go into more detail–saying this much has made me feel sad enough so… but yes, I think I will log off for the night and hope I feel better and more energized tomorrow morning.

Ship Droids can now get affection!

I actually almost forgot about that 🙂 Thankfully, I saved a few items to give him.

So far, C2-N2 (Republic Ship Droid) seems to like:
Republic Memorabilia – Liked the least (not counting stuff that gave 0)
Cultural Artifacts – Likes the most out of everything I tried
Technology – Liked the second most
Luxury – Tied with Republic Memorabilia

He does not like:
Weapons
Underworld Goods
Imperial Memorabilia
Courting
Trophy
Military Gear

Shall update as I test them out 🙂 All checked <3 I would guess the Imperial side would be similar, but with Imperial Memorabilia instead of Republic.

While I definitely won’t be getting the repair droid like I hoped (I only have 140K right now 🙁 ), I’m in a fairly good mood right now out of getting to wear my Elegant Dress again (where my money went. Costs about 100K per item to get the modifications out which really sucks. :/ Was going to do my PVP set too, but I don’t have the roughly 500K for that, unfortunately) even if only PVE-wise (though, it’s my main focus anyway).

I hope the Mastercraft Magenta schematic drops while we are on Corellia. Would make my day. My boyfriend asked if we could check out the new PVP area first so I told him we’ll do that before heading to Corellia and Voss respectively 🙂

Besides that, everything else (other than affording the Legacy stuff like the things for your ship T~T) is done and ready to go! I have Fawn and Taunta plus the Unusual Egg 🙂 So just need to find those other new pets (it’s too bad we couldn’t before) and get ready to go! Will have to stalk the forum to see if anyone makes a topic…or figure out which forum to post the topic in to begin with.

Just going to log into each character briefly (or well, the ones I’m not remaking…so one) to play with the family tree a little bit now. I hope interfaces cross characters. (Edit: they do :D)

Patch up early T__T

So, while looking for a specific time I could stalk the website for, I found out the patch was actually released about 90 minutes ago at about 7:10EST. Needless to say, I am having a nervous breakdown. I had woken up early enough if I just thought to check the developer tracker, but obviously I was an idiot and didn’t. Just need to hope the Orobird is still there or I will cry. So much. I wonder if someone already took down the Voss World Boss? oh my god. I’m panicking. so much.

okay, I need to breathe (it’s not working), and for now, while it’s installing the patch (finished downloading) and only at 13% at this time, I will write my To-do List to try and focus (14% now!):

1. GET THAT OROBIRD EGG. If it’s not there..umm.. cry. I don’t know if I’ll wait there the entire time or what. I mean, there is a chance (though small), it won’t actually spawn for the first time until 8 hours after the patch went up. But for all I know, it was taken and anytime between whenever I get on and when the patch went up over 90 minutes ago (15% now.) (EDIT AT 9:33AM: GOTTEN. Will respawn at 5:33PM EST for other Corellian Run people)
2. Head to the vendor in the mountains on Alderaan to get 5 (max per stack) of those NCSSCV whatever things. Also take care of the Legacy stuff you can. (DONE!)
3. Use Fleet Pass and go buy Taunta. Also pick up new Vehicle quests. (DONE!)
4. Head over to either Corellia or Voss for the new quests. Probably Corellia first, but may do a pitstop in Voss to see what’s going on. (Gonna do soon)
5. SAVE MONEY AND GET THINGS DONE.

On the bright side, it’s a good thing I did not get the other vehicle mounts I need yet. Apparently there is a glitch and if you “learn” more than 30, they just disappear. Hopefully this is fixed soon.

Okay, 18% now. Still panicking. PLEASE GO FASTER PATCH. T~T

Party Bombs

So, after failing miserably on saving, my boyfriend decided to cheer me up by giving me 500K–400K to get the final bank slot and 100K or the Galactic Party Bomb. I had wanted the Galactic Party Bomb for a while, but didn’t have it high on my priority list. I just constantly saw the people in the PVP with their giant board with the flashing lights and thought it’d be cool to have. Only to find out that apparently the Galactic Party Bomb is a completely different item.

A completely different way more awesome item.

The Galactic Party Bomb can be positioned kind of like Force Quake (Consular AOE) and Salvation (Sage AOE Heal) or like throwing the Hutt Ball. Then, a UFO-like little robot comes out with a disco ball and flashes lights, plays some music, and has pretty lights shining around.

That is pure awesome.

I did find out that the item I thought the Galactic Party Bomb was happens to be called the Party Instigator. It is only 10K and requires Social Level 5, so I stopped by Balmorra (You can buy it on Taris on the Imperial side) and picked it up too.

…Still definitely prefer the Galactic Party Bomb.

Anyway, I have decided that the first Legacy item I will buy is the repair droid for 1 million. Obviously, I will still need to save up as I’ll be about 400K short to buy it right away along with Taunta and the emergency 100K for various things.

After that, I will probably save up for the Neutral Market then go for the Mailbox. Then of course, both dummies. After that? Probably the Rocket Boost. Then various cooldowns and last, but not least, the two races I’d like to get. So still lots of preparing to do.

It’s too bad I couldn’t get the speeders before their prices raised though. At least I got the ones retiring, however.

Getting things done…or well, trying to.

Despite my stressing and wanting to just curl into a ball, I am trying to get things done. Unfortunately, it’s not going well. And part of that reason happens to be guilds.

Guilds have a lot of great features. You can make new friends, find people to work with, and when a game doesn’t have a friend chat, it is the next best thing.

The problem comes in that most people will always go to a guild if they need people for flashpoints or raids. There is no looking for a group and people would rather work with those they know then work with the gamble of a Pick-up group.

So, if your guild is no longer bothering to get on and you have nobody to ask, you are stuck looking to find people to join. And because you are finally looking, you will most likely not find anyone. Either people who ask are too low a level/are not eligible, everyone is busy, or nobody is really on out of people who would do a Pick-up group in the first place.

But while flash points are a bit more common to maybe find people asking, operations are definitely not and more “guild only”. An Operation pick-up group is incredibly rare. Maybe to replace a member or two of a guild–but definitely not a full pick-up group.

And the main issue with SWTOR is once you do hit 50 (despite some FPs not even being available until then), you unlock “hard mode” flashpoints which is all most people will care about. “Oh, what did you mean you wanted to do a normal version to complete the quest as part of a story? TOO BAD.” It’s not exactly easy to find a flashpoint and if you’re asking for a normal version that isn’t farming Esseles for social points, the chances of you finding one are slim to none unless you get lucky and come upon some new level 50’s who still need to do it and aren’t alts of those already high levels.

Despite the lowness of this happening, I have tried to find a Battle of Ilum (normal) group and/or Karagga’s Palace (normal/Hard mode), but have had no luck. Afterall, nobody wants to do Battle of Illum on normal and operations are really a guild thing so bleh.

PVP I’d rather not spend more time than I need to in order to get it done, but I’m about 10% away from Legacy 25…not that I’ll be able to afford the only thing that needs that Legacy level.

And I think, because we couldn’t have enough stress and frustration, we might be switching guilds soon. Blah.

Besides that, apparently Ranked Warzones are being delayed. I don’t care too much as I’m not a big PVP person, but I know a lot of people were looking forward to them. At least they are listening to feedback and making sure it’s ready to go first. …I still wish the Patch wasn’t being released yet though. 🙁

Yeeeeeees—LEGACY NAME GET. [PTS]

So, thanks to some help, my level 19 Jedi Sage on the Public Test Server has finished Act 1 and gotten her legacy! I ended up picking “Royal”, which is what I probably would’ve picked for my main legacy if I thought about it instead of Naberrie, and was very happy it was still available. “The Royal Legacy”, indeed.

So, Legacy stuff!:
1. There is a new item that you receive upon completion of Act 1 (I’m sure it’s probably different for anyone besides Consulars and Knights though): A Jedi Academy Pass. It instantly takes you to the Jedi Temple on Tython. Unfortunately, it only has one use and is somewhat associated with your next quest for some odd reason–also, after use if you have it in your toolbar, it has a cooldown timer…despite the fact that you have no more you can use. You also receive (before this item, actually) your first Bound to Legacy Item: “Inheritance Mainhand Weapon Construction Kit” which “Can be used to create a piece of powerful Inheritance equipment.” I have no idea how it works 😀 Apparently it is used at the Legacy Vendors on Coruscant!

2. Moving on, as most people know, besides species unlocks when you get to level 50 with that species or buy them, there are also class unlocks (which, as far as I can tell, are not buyable). Each class, besides the companion affection buffs, will give you a special emote and their buff on completing Chapter 2 with that class and a special attack on completing Chapter 3.

3. All Species are 1.5 million except Human which is only 500K. As for the point of Human, it gives a +100 Presence Bonus. All Species require Legacy Level 5 to purchase (or just for you to hit level 50 to unlock them).

4. For Other Legacy Stuff… well….

  • While Neutral isn’t available yet, the Dark and Light side attacks are. They require you to be Dark V or Light V respectfully and level 50 OR if you rather just purchase them, it costs 250K and Legacy Level 10.
  • Ship Unlocks, sadly, are purchase and Legacy only. The Repair Droid requires Legacy level 7 and costs 1 million, The Mailbox requires Legacy Level 10 and costs 500K, Both Training Dummies also require Legacy Level 10 and cost 500K each, and finally, the Galactic Market Kiosk costs 5 million (still 🙁 ) but is down from 35 legacy to only 25 (which I’m only one away from) so yay for that! …now let’s pretend I could afford it in the first place.
  • For the Unarmed Attacks, they require Valor Rank or Legacy Level. Punch requires Valor 5 OR Legacy Level 5 and currently has no price. Jab requires Valor Rank 10 or 30,000 Credits and Legacy Level 8. Uppercut requires Valor Rank 15 or 30,000 Credits and Legacy Level 10, and finally, Bash requires Valor Rank 25 or 30,000 Credits and Legacy Level 15.
  • Convenience runs over the same reign as ship unlocks. Legacy Fleet Pass requires 100K + Legacy Level 5, 200K + Legacy Level 10, and 300K + Legacy Level 15 for each level. Legacy Travel requires, well, the same costs and levels as Legacy Fleet Pass. Rocket Boost, which seems to work somewhat like Force Speed, requires 2 million and Legacy Level 8 to unlock. You can then shorten the cooldown twice–once for 1 million + legacy level 10 and the other for 1.5 million and legacy level 12.
  • Finally, Social which works like Valor and Alignment features special stuff for your social level. Companion Dance requires Social Level 3 OR 25,000 Credits + Legacy Level 3, Tech Emotes requires Social 4 or 50K Credits + Legacy Level 8, Tool Emotes require Social 6 or 100K Credits and Legacy Level 12, and finally, Double Lasers Emote requires Social 10 or 150K and Legacy Level 15.
