Yay codexes!

So, after seeing a friend with Rakghoul’s Bane, a title you get from Kaon, and continuing to not have it yet myself, I sent a ticket to Customer Service. They were very nice 🙂 And I got several Codex-y things fixed.

Ones fixed:

-Terentatek
-Sand Rot (Consular)
-The First Son (Consular)

😀

They also mentioned that the following are not supposed to be gotten so I am guessing they have been removed:
-Paladin of House Organa
-Hero of Gorinth Canyon
-Master of the Burning Way

-Ice Wars Veteran
-Shadow Hunter
-Venom Drinker

I will probably remove these from my list then. Less confusing that way! Unless someone thinks maybe they should stay? @-@

I may do one more ticket with a full list, but for now, just excited to have some fixed. If you are also missing some codexes that you should have, do contact Customer Service about them and include the specific character and what codexes they are 🙂 And they should be able to help!

A relief

So, one of the awesomely awesome developers posted this:

Hi folks,
We wanted to inform you all that there is currently an issue with the missions A Lead, A New Lead, and Another Lead. The way the Chevin Event works is that players can find the first six items of the mission The Grand Acquisitions Race whenever at their leisure. The next three items will unlock on a daily basis for everyone, regardless of what step players are on in the main event quest. (item #7 unlocks today, item #8 tomorrow, and item #9 unlocks on Friday).
Players are currently running into an issue that when they complete the mission, A Lead (item #7), the UI marks Another Lead (item #9) as complete with no item given to the player.
DO NOT WORRY. These three missions are merely hints. You DO NOT need this mission to appear in your Mission Log in order to activate it. It will unlock on a daily basis as I outlined earlier.
To be clear, you can STILL play these missions even if they are marked as complete. You just have to wait for their specific daily unlock.
For your convenience, I have posted the text for each mission below:

A Lead (Item #7 – Akar Kesh Meditation mask): A Sniffer droid is available to aid you in your search for the Akar Kesh Meditation mask, but is still undergoing programming. [unlocks today]
A New Lead (Item #8 – Black-and-Orange Sphere): Sapaaga the Hutt is refusing to speak to anyone at this time. Check back with the Hutt observation droid at the Lower Promenade on Nar Shaddaa later, when the Hutt’s string of losses may have made him more inclined to negotiate. [unlocks tomorrow]
Another Lead (Item #9 – Plasma-Sealed Jar): A Republic Slicing Droid is tapping into the Transportation Network Terminal in Shadowtown in Nar Shaddaa to locate information leading the Plasma-Sealed Jar. [unlocks Friday]

So, it’s just a glitch, but regardless, I’ll be okay! I should be able to finish. I’m so relieved. x-x Anyway, time to get my boyfriend up to speed and finish stuff up on our imperials!

In the meantime, I did look up the codexes and learned the titles:
1. Imperial side: Imperial Loyalist
2. Republic Side: SIS Freelancer
3. Chevins: Capable Sentient

I’m kind of leaning towards the Chevin one. I think the Republic one is kind of lame considering SIS Operative is a title you can get on Tatooine–a glitched title, but still a title you can get. Apparently this title was removed–not a glitch, regardless, I think it sounds better than SIS Freelancer… Imperial Loyalist isn’t bad, but none of my characters really are Imperial Loyalist? All my Imperial characters are neutral on the sides, if anything. I think it’s a nicer sounding title though.

I guess I’ll see how the story goes and pick which I think is better–after all, it’s one title only (because as expected, no repeatable quests).

What To Do

So, recently, it hit me exactly what day today is. It is Thursday which is our new EC Normal Day due to the HM run being on Tuesday (as Reaper can’t run Thursdays).

I…don’t really want to go. Of course, I still feel loyal to the guild, but I am just so frustrated. I don’t really care about having things on farm. We’re not helping anyone with this run (nobody needs anything). We’re just doing it. Why? To remember that we were kicked from the HM group? And considering last week we only managed to get 2/4 (due to several changes), I don’t want to go again. I just don’t.

One person already went Hiatus from Raiding. I can’t help but wonder if it is partially due to this.

But, to make things more difficult, as you know, I went and raided a HM 16-man EC run (And I have to say I love 16-man as it really helps me learn the positioning of a fight) and due to the glitch with Mine-guy, we could not finish…they did, however, fix the glitch and so I have been invited to finish it up and get my final two codexes–plus my Aratech Midnight.

I am inclined to go with that as:
1. I hate leaving things undone. Seriously.
2. It was a raid with a lot of people I knew from outside the guild who I happened to be friends with.
3. It was actually fun–sometime I haven’t felt since all the HM EC stuff in our guild.
4. It will finish off almost all my codexes. I’d only need Nightmare KP ones (the title included) and then the rest are just glitched.

Of course, regardless of which I’ll pick, I will feel bad. As it is, my boyfriend isn’t feeling too well regardless (and is beyond pissed off with the whole situation) so he will most likely not be raiding tonight. I actually do have to bake cookies with my sister (once again I have been volunteered to make cookies for people 😐 ) so I may not even be on for the EC Normal raid which starts at 8. I should be on by 8:50 though, when the EC HM raid starts (and this is why I can’t just do both).

I also just…don’t feel wanted? I mean, when the person who you originally thought hated you (later learned he just has a kind of dry sarcasm) seems to be the only one who cares about you being there or staying, there is something wrong. Or you know, if you mention not being on due to being in a car accident and get only responded to by that same person while after a pause, the other people just go back to talking about some concert or show they saw. Thanks for the concern, guys.

In the meantime, I’ve been getting even more focused on gear. This is because I just want to get out of this outfit so badly (unfortunately, I only have like 400K so not sure if I can afford too as while other stuff was lowered to like 25K, Campaign/26 stuff is 30K :|) and I’m so pissed off with them right now and just want to show I don’t suck. And it wasn’t my fault. No, I don’t know or care how your other two healers are doing it, but apparently you’re just scraping by and it seems to be luck as it still takes several goes. I think the only operation boss I’ve always seen take several goes are the two tanks in EC just because of how much precision is needed. One single lag spike could kill everyone.

The Campaign chest and gloves drop from Mine-guy while the Main-hand and Helm drop from Kephess. At the very least, I really hope I can get the chest. Then I’d at least have the chest and pants and it wouldn’t be so horrible. I would say after that, I’d really want the gloves because giant pads on the gloves are just awkward. Of course, I’d love all 4, but I’d feel like a jerk unless nobody needed them. And I still need the boots from Nightmare Pilgrim, but I have to do him 2 more times anyway for the Aratech Coral. Still, hopefully then I will never see him again. He’s not so bad for a Healer though–just need to heal A LOT and avoid circles. It’s really mostly the DPS who need to make sure they listen so they don’t kill themselves.

Going back to more gear specific stuff, I actually saw 3 Advanced Mettle Mod 26 yesterday T__T They were about 500K each and thus, I couldn’t afford any of them. Not to mention 1.5 million is also how much I’d need to make Zoara (which I really want to–I hate having a slot just filled up for no reason. I want to get her made the way she is supposed to be) or I could get the two Ship Dummies with 500K to spare. And yes, Ship Legacy stuff is still super priority to me! But I’m no where close to ever having 5 million for a GTN 🙁 let alone the 1 million for the Dummies (which are probably the lowest priority). Not to mention I still need like 200K-300K for Miisha’s exp. stuff :/ (and I still need to get Amidaia to 50 already! And get all her companions up ._.)

Getting back to my original subject… unfortunately, when I checked this afternoon (though, still can’t afford it), all 3 were gone 🙁 I really should’ve seen if someone could loan me credits considering how rare it seems to be that a Mettle Mod 26 shows up in the first place (I’ve seen plenty of 25’s and many 26B’s and some 26A’s but just 26 is a foreign concept).

Overall though, I still need quite a bit–even though I have been prioritizing the mods. So, list time:

Top: Campaign Vestments Armoring, Advanced Mettle Mod 26, Advanced Quick Savant Enhancement 26 (375K-500K. I could afford one right now, but it’d be all my money 🙁 )

So, I need 2 Advanced Resolve Armoring 26, 5 Campaign Drops for Armorings, 3 Advanced Mettle Mod 26, and 2 Advanced Quick Savant Enhancement 26 for a grand total of lots of emotional pain from EC HM and roughly 6.5 million credits. Lovely.

can I just have a pile of credits? please? ._. then I’d be able to finish all this junk and help my boyfriend get geared too and work on our alts so he can have more to go raid and just earning credits sucks. And while some people in our guild are starting to get these high mods, the whole making people pay for materials that everyone in the guild worked together to get really rubs me the wrong way :/ it may be cheaper (in some cases–though, I don’t believe they can make any of the ones I need ATM anyhow), but the principal of it bothers me too much.

I was brought on an emergency run with Stoic’s main 16-man HM Group when one of their healers had to suddenly leave. Unfortunately, the mine boss is glitched right now due to the next patch, but we got the first two done and I got Campaign pants and I’m just so excited! New codexes and one item changed (and I even got the enhancement I needed for it!) Was like 200K to change stuff around though 🙁 This makes me more impatient to get 3 Advanced Mettle Mod 26 however.

Now we’re waiting for Nightmare Pilgrim 😀 if he loads up before like 12:15AM, we shall do him and that would make things even more epic T~T

Edit: We did it! We beat Nightmare Pilgrim! OMGYES.

Edit 2: And it looks like the patch is going in tonight for Thursday as expected :3 And apparently Elidibs has a spot again so maybe I can finish EC AND THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME OMGYAY.

That moment when you realized your guild did KP NM without you T___T

I’m not really angry at anyone. Just sad. It’s not like we were in that long (though, we were in the first two EV NM groups) or anything.

It just sucks to know in that stupid horrible ride on Saturday, we missed KP NM. And they did both. At least we have everything with EV NM, but KP NM T___T codexes…

I kind of just want to cry. I just feel…really sad. And as it is, I believe we are busy Saturday so depending on when we get back…and the hotel internet may suck 🙁 I’m just getting more sad the more I think about this.

The Infernal

Yep! We got the title 😀 Did it within 2 hours (Only wiped a little on Soa and slightly on the Pylons (we got out alive more or less though) due to the puzzles starting before we even started them up).

Very exciting! Not to mention this means I have EV 100% done! Well, sort of, I still need the Normal mode mount, but that drops from KP too and Kaon. Hopefully we’ll do KP Nightmare and Nightmare Pilgrim soon!

Besides that, I just need one more Advanced Mettle Mod 25 (or 4 26–only have gotten 25’s, but 25 is minimum I need so!) and 2 more Advanced Aptitude Mettle Mod 25/26. And I’m just 8 BH commendations away from the Implant I need.

Depending on how it goes, it seems I may actually need more Aptitude mods…and of course, I’ll have to play around with the enhancements. I wish I had more credits so I could just get this stuff done and over with.

Return to EV NM and Hurt feelings

So, firstly, I’m a very dedicated person. I may run late sometimes (due to whatever), but I will almost always be there. We ran to the store tonight and 15 minutes before we got back, I was replaced by another healer for KP Hard Mode. Now, as everyone should know, I’m pretty much farming KP due to pet-ness. So that hurt. A lot. I’m still kind of upset. Thankfully, the pet didn’t drop, but I just wish they could’ve waited a bit more–at the same time, I’m upset with myself as if I didn’t go to the store (which actually didn’t take long–the lines were what took so long), I would’ve been there.

Moving on, since everyone was still on, we decided to give Eternity Vault Nightmare Mode another shot. And, well, we did it. Took 3 tries, but the first try Soa was aggro’d early (3 of our members weren’t even there yet), second we somehow missed a pylon (finally know why you need to hit 5 of them though), and thus, the third everything went well and smooth (well, more or less, we missed a pylon at the end to break his shield so he enraged–we did pretty well though, but lost 3 people near the end).

We’ll have to go back again though to try for “the Infernal” title…but I think we can do it.

A little down

Today, I got to do my first try at Eternity Vault Nightmare mode! We got all the way to Soa, but didn’t finish.

It took us an hour on the droid. Most of the time due to deaths which were my fault 🙁 I’m…not very good with positioning. It might just have to do with my bad aim that makes me have so much trouble with it, but once someone explains more how I’m supposed to stand, I am good. It can take me a bit to get used to if I have to move a lot position-wise though. Anyway, after getting situated: first time getting to 7% while several other times 5%…finally figured out a good way and got him fully down. Considering he only needs to get to about 3%, we were very close. Rest was very easy… Soa…well, it seems people were having issues with the lightning balls again.

So, Lightning Ball tips:
1. If you’re low on health, USE A MED PACK AND ASK A SAGE FOR A BUBBLE. Holding off will actually make it worse as the lightning will follow you and send electric shots.

2. Always run straight through the boss–do not run around or wait.

3. CLICK THE LIGHTNING AND SEE WHO IT IS TARGETING! Or if you do not have target of target, just head either left or right and see if the lightning you are closed to follows or not.

4. Stay away from the other person’s ball. The explosion will hurt you more than it will hurt them–the other ball can also shock you.

After that, we didn’t reset because it would kill our chance and if we did it perfectly, we’d have just made it… unfortunately, Soa glitched and had enrage-level damage so everyone died almost immediately… which ruined our last shot. Essentially we were screwed either way because if we reset the instance, we’d have lost the timed run buff too.

I just… wish the lightning didn’t seem to give people so much trouble? Besides that, we actually had several people who weren’t full (or had like 0-2 pieces) Rakata so considering, we did really well.

I guess I’m just kind of disappointed as we pretty much had it. Yay for two new codexes at least. We shall hopefully be getting the group together again at another time to try doing Nightmare Soa again so at least if we do, we’ll get another new codex, even if the title will have to wait until another time…

And then what? + Event Rumors

I get asked this a lot. “So, when you collect all the pets, then what? Just wait for more?” It’s actually a very silly question as I’m a pretty goal oriented person and usually mention that I do have quite a few–just that Pets are my number 1 priority right now.

And what exactly would be all the pets? I believe I’ve stated there’s technically 20 pets confirmed and 24 pets in the game (of course, Beta pets are not counted in this as they are not out yet whatsoever–though, for those curious, it’d be 29 with Beta included).

To be honest, once I get the M0-GUL Thrall Droid, I’d essentially be satisfied as right now, there is no information on how to get the Wonderous/Wondrous Egg. That doesn’t mean I won’t stop trying to figure it out–of course I will! I will constantly keep trying, but I won’t feel frustrated or impatient that I haven’t gotten it yet as nobody has it yet. Nobody knows how to get it. It’s a mystery.

Getting Orochick as well as the M0-GUL Thrall Droid would essentially be the full goal as while I will still keep an eye out of the other 4 pets, they have not been confirmed and thus, I’d rather not drive myself crazy for something that may not even be enabled yet.

But then what would I do, you ask? Well, that’s simple. I’d save up for most of my other goals. For example, I still need 5 million credits for the Ship GTN. Not to mention 1 million more for Both Dummies (as they’re 500K each). After that, I’ll probably either put 2 million towards Rocket Boots, 200K towards the Field Respec, and the 3 million for the Twi’lek and Zabrak races. Though, if I do level up Roseria, I may just need 1.5 million then. Main issue is I do not know how I’ll do leveling up a sage again. However, if my boyfriend and I can get some of our friends to join, I may just try and deal.

After that, it’s a bit of a tie. Besides working on other characters, I’d like to get each (Minus Amidaia and Marilea for obvious reasons) the full Class Experience Boost Perks (275K) and full Exploration Experience Boost Perks (150K) which would be 425K per character (5 other characters = 2,125,000). …I’d also probably have to get it for the being rushed through Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior characters I will be making (that will just be deleted after I get the Companion and Chapter stuff) as they need to at least hit the requirement for Quesh so they can get the shot as to not die instantly 😛 But I’d also like to work on my Mount collection.

But of course, then what? Still easy. I’d like to just unlock everything Legacy-wise for Mari–including stuff she doesn’t need. Would also be tempted to get all the Companion Affection stuff on all my other characters (including Amidaia).

And after that? There’s nothing wrong with saving up credits and commendations for the future now, is there?

Besides that, there are rumors of the Event starting today. It doesn’t look like it is though, but maybe this weekend?

(for the record, it’d be about 16,300,000 to get Marilea all the speeders, all the 1.3 Legacy stuff, the Twi’lek and Zabrak races, Rocket Boots, and the Ship Legacy Unlocks. An extra 6 million would need to be added if I ever tried to unlock all the species, an extra 3,950,000 for the rest of the 1.2 stuff (Dark Side Ability, Rocket Boots/Quick Travel/Fleet Pass Cooldowns), an extra 2,970,000 to get every future character I make all 5 Ranks of Class and Exploration Experience Boosts, Level 1 of Improved Speeder Piloting, and all the Companion Affection Boosts… well, I can probably minus 180K (making it 2,790,000) as I don’t really need the companion stuff on Roseria. For a grand total of 23,040,000… this is why I’m trying to get like 25 million. …too bad it probably won’t happen.
